What a great wedding! Amy, the bride was a joy to work with. She requested orange roses as they have a special significance for her family. I love that flowers can evoke special memories. This couple had their ceremony and reception and the Mission Oak Grill in Newburyport.

Getting Started

I am very new to blogging but I keep hearing how great it is...keep people up to date on what you're doing...promote business...keep clients up to date on your latest work..etc. So, I'm going to give it a try. For those of you who don't know, my name is Elizabeth McClure. I own Flourish & Ferns, a floral design studio focused on weddings, baby and bridal showers, anniversary parties and other events.

In this blog I will be listing my latest designs. The most recent pictures I have are from the wedding of Allison and James. The reception was held at Su Chang's Restaurant in Peabody, MA. Allison wanted to take advantage of all the beautiful harvest colors in the fall. We decided to use two types of arrangements: low and tall. The tall arrangements had curly willow branches with orange mokara orchids hand tied all over them. Lots of work but the effect it gave was so worth it. They were such a great couple and I wish them the best!
